What is a "Unwind" direction?
The unwind direction indicates how the rolls of labels are “wound” or produced so that the labels are facing in the right direction when the labels are being applied by a machine or label applicator.
When To Use It: The unwind direction is important if your labels are being machine-applied. Make sure you confirm the right unwind direction with your machine or label applicator manual or manufacturer!
If you are applying your labels by hand, then the unwind direction is less important.
